Remodel 4500 square feet of operating lab space to accommodate a 300% increase in sample management and analytical services. Results: - 3-fold increase in sample QC services was obtained
- Maintained full QC services during construction
- Quality risks were diminished by improved sample segregation areas
- Co-employment risks of contract lab personnel were minimized by improved space allocation
- New freezer technology was procured and validated
APECS managed schematic and detailed design (including architectural, mechanical, and electrical) for $750K of lab renovations to a GMP biotech lab facility. APECS also managed construction and startup which was all coordinated while lab operations were continuing. Modifications to the 4500 square foot facility included architectural, HVAC, electrical, and equipment.
