Project Management & CM Services __________ Scinopharm Objective: Provide FDA-validated contract-manufacturing and laboratory facilities for APIs. Process trains included kilo lab size to full production scale systems. Results Achieved: · APECS provided value engineering to bring cost overruns to within the $140MM budget · FDA validation obtained · Schedule compression obtained by creative construction and startup ideas APECS provided project management including coordinating and reviewing engineering work products from an American engineering design firm and a Taiwanese engineering design firm. Other project responsibilities included project planning, scoping, scheduling, costing, client interface, implementation, data analysis, negotiating and reporting. Construction management responsibilities included defining contract work scope, work sequencing, scheduling and expediting, quality inspections of architectural, mechanical, instrument and piping installations, and supervision of commissioning activities. Other project responsibilities included establishing a work change request procedure, preparing and tracking budgets, and establishing and tracking construction progress metrics.
