APECS is seeking an administrative support professional to assume the role of Administrative Assistant. This will be a key position with a wide range of administrative and accounting support responsibilities.

Who Are You?

APECS is seeking a unique Administrative Assistant who is experienced in wearing many hats in a corporate environment. You will not only be responsible for day-to-day accounting and administrative support, but will also have a client-facing role when it comes to project coordination, marketing support and event coordination. It is essential that you not only bring strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills to the job, but also professionalism and confidence. You will support multiple staff and be expected to handle both business and employee transactions in a consistently diplomatic and discrete manner.

You will have the following education, skills and experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1 – 2 years’ related work experience in an office environment
  • Experience using MS Office Suite; MS Excel and Word in particular
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong data entry skills (accuracy and speed)
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • A professional presence
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent research and problem solving skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • A positive attitude and the ability to get along well with a wide variety of people

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Processing of accounts receivable and payable
  • Data collection and data entry
  • Client invoicing
  • Performing broad range of administrative tasks
  • Marketing Support
  • Event planning, procurement and project coordination
